Tenfold is a movie-rating app made by one person. These are the rules for
using it. By creating an account or using Tenfold, you agree to them. Like the
privacy policy, they are written to be read.
The short version. Be decent to people. Tenfold has zero
tolerance for harassment, hate, sexual content, threats, spam, or pretending
to be someone else. You can report anything and block anyone, I look at
every report within 24 hours, and anything or anyone that breaks these rules
gets removed. Your ratings are yours.
Community guidelines
These cover everything other people can see: your username, your profile
photo, your captions and your comments. There is no tolerance for
objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post:
Bullying or harassment. Going after someone, piling on,
or trying to upset or scare them.
Hate speech or symbols. Attacking people for who they
are, including their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender or
sexual orientation.
Nudity or sexual content. In a photo, a username, or
words.
Violence or threats. Threatening anyone, or encouraging
anyone to hurt themselves or someone else.
Spam or scams. Ads, selling things, or tricking
people.
Pretending to be someone. A username or photo meant to
make people think you are someone you are not.
Anything illegal, or someone else's private information.
Addresses, phone numbers, or photos of people who didn't agree to
it.
Reporting and blocking
Report. Every username, photo, caption and comment can
be reported from inside the app. The person you report is never told who
reported them.
Block. Blocking someone ends your friendship and any
requests between you. They can no longer find you by your username, send
you a friend request, or see your movies, posts or comments.
What I do. I look at every report within 24 hours. If
it breaks these rules, I remove it.
If someone breaks the rules
I can remove a caption or comment, clear a username or photo, and delete an
account. Serious or repeated breaks, like threats, hate, or sexual content,
mean the account is deleted, and it can happen without a warning first.
Anything that puts a child at risk is reported to the authorities.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use Tenfold.
An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; what
happens on your account is on you.
Your username has to follow the guidelines. One that doesn't can be
cleared, and the app will ask you to choose a new one.
You can delete your account whenever you want: Settings → Account →
Delete my account. What that removes is in the
privacy policy.
Your ratings and posts
Everything you rate, write and upload stays yours. You let Tenfold store it
and show it to the people the app shows it to, like your friends and the
people in your watch parties, only so the app can work. That ends when you
delete it or your account, except for the few things the
privacy policy says are kept.
The app itself
Tenfold is free and provided as it is. I work hard to keep it running and
your library safe, but I can't promise it will never have a bug or go down,
and as far as the law allows, I'm not responsible for losses that come from
using it. You can export your whole library whenever you want: Settings →
Account → Export my library.
